All safety designs are underprints, i.e., paper first printed with safety design, then "overprinted" with stamp design. All essays presented below are die essays. The resolution of scans, as provided to us, may differ from one sale to another. Like items which appear larger than others are not an indication of a difference in the overall size of the die impression of those items.
